TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE PEP #STEPINSTYLE CHALLENGES:

  1. The promoter is PEP Africa a division of Pepkor Trading (Pty) Ltd ("the Promoter").
  2. The name of the challenge is, "PEP #STEPINSTYLE” ("the Challenges").
  3. The challenges will run from 26 February to 26 March 2021, both days inclusive ("the Challenge Period").
  4. Entries received after the Challenge Period end date will not be considered.
  5. By entering the challenge, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  6. This is an online challenge and you must enter on ng.togetherwithpep.com
  7. The challenge is open to all participants within Zambia ("the Participant Country").
  8. This is NOT a competition.
  9. You are not eligible to participate in this challenge if: -
    1. You are a director, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant of the Pepkor group; and
    2. You are an immediate family member, of the persons specified in 8(a).
  10. You can enter multiple times with different design during the Challenge Period.
  11. Entries are final and photos cannot be changed.
  12. To enter the challenge you must complete the online entry form on the PEP Nigeria microsite ng.togetherwithpep.com and upload a CLEAR colour picture of the design. The photo may not be larger than 5MB –only JPGs or PNGs formats accepted.
  13. Designs submitted must be recent and taken within the last month.
  14. The winning design becomes the property of PEP Africa. The winner will see their design in Store in September 2021. The winner will not receive any proceeds from the sales.

VOTING

The public will be given the opportunity to vote for their favourite design on our secure website.

  1. Voting will be open from 5 March to 26 March 2021 ("the Voting Period");
  2. No voting before and after the dates specified in 17(a) will be considered;
  3. You are limited to one vote once per design entered;
  4. You are able to vote for more than one design as specified in 17(c);
  5. You vote by clicking the picture of your favourite design on our website challenge page at, ng.togetherwithpep.com
  6. A like on other social media platforms will not be considered as a valid vote. All voting needs to take place on the website challenge page; and
  7. You can share the provided custom link of your design on social media platforms to encourage your family and friends to vote for your entry on the website challenge page.
  1. WINNERS
    1. The design with the most number of votes on the website challenge page, and not on social media, will be the winner;
    2. The design with the second and third most votes will be the runner ups;
    3. The winner and runner ups will be validated by the Promoter by means of the customer information provided.
    4. Should there be designs with the same number of votes for the first prize (the design who received the most votes) at the end of the voting period, after validation as specified in 18(c) a panel of judges will select the PEP #stepinstyle winner.

WINNERS ANNOUNCEMENT

  1. The winners' announcement will take place on 15 April 2021
  2. The winners will be contacted prior to the announcement date mentioned in 19(a).
  3. The winners will be featured in:
    1. PEP Zambia social media channels and printed elements where applicable.
    2. Website – ng.togetherwithpep.com
    3. Facebook – 
      1. ng.togetherwithpep.com
  4. If after 3 attempted calls to the number provided on entering the challenge, the organisers cannot reach the initial winner(s) to arrange for future plans, the design with the next highest number of votes will be selected and named the winner of the respective prize.
  1. The winners will be expected to fulfil some duties from time to time within reason.
    1. Be available for photo shoots and be willing to feature in any advertising for PEP Nigeria for free if required.
    2. Be prepared to travel to the capital city for the shoot if required. PEP Nigeria will arrange and pay for flights and accommodation if needed.
  2. The Challenge prizes will be awarded as follows:
    1. The design with the most votes will be the overall winner and receive the opportunity to possibly have their design featured on our sandals in store.
    2. The winning design becomes the property of PEP Africa. The winner will see their design in Store in September 2021. The winner will not receive any proceeds from the sales.

  1. GROUNDS FOR IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION
    1. Submission of false information about the entrant;
    2. The photo of the entrant that is uploaded is not a true reflection of their own authentic design
    3. Running of illegal campaigning or activities to increase votes;
    4. Invalid email addresses used to vote;
    5. The participant who enter the design is not the designer themselves
  2. The Promoter and their delivery agent does not accept responsibility or liability for any loss or damage and will also not be responsible or liable for any further expenses or fees required for purpose of using, applying or enjoying the prize won in this challenge.
  3. The Promoter reserves the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the challenge and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations which you may have against the Promoter and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against the Promoter.
